    VacuShear® Sanitary Vacuum Powder Mix System for Hard-to-Handle Ingredients

    A&B Process Systems and Admix, Inc. have partnered to produce highly-efficient, flexible liquid powder mix systems. Our mixing technology ranges from high-speed emulsification of powders into immiscible liquids, to simple blending of Newtonian fluids. Our state-of-the-art vacuum pumps, powder feeders, hoppers and dump stations provide the most cost-effective and ergonomic means to introduce powdered products into the mix tank.

    VacuShear Sanitary Vacuum Powder Mix System

    The VacuShear sanitary vacuum powder mix system eliminates dust formation that can contaminate products, helps make the workplace safer and saves money by reducing powder loss. Its unique ability to provide aeration-free and foam-free mixing, as well as easy vacuum conveying of dry, challenging ingredients, makes it ideal for manufacturing:

    ice cream mixes

    VacuShear powder process systems:

    Eliminate entrained air and foaming while mixing. Vacuum introduction of dry ingredients reduces the generation of air and foam within the process, followed by de-aeration as vacuum is maintained.

    Eliminate bottom seal. Top entry high-shear Rotosolver® completely eliminates the high maintenance found with conventional bottom entry liquid-processors. No bottom bearings or seals. No complicated orientation of drive and mixer at tank outlet.

    Reduce safety hazards with dust-free environment. Dry ingredient hoppers, dump stations and wands are engineered to reduce or eliminate dusting typical of bag feeding.

    Address ergonomic, efficiency and sanitary issues. Waist high or ground level vacuum feed stations reduce back strain and climbing accidents while eliminating paper and plastic scraps from falling into the batch.

    Eliminate manual delivery of powders. The vacuum mix system provides hands-free conveying of materials while the vacuum tank maintains positive suction directly into the mixing head.
