H&K acquires 72 % of a Brazilian mechanical engineering company, the later “KHS Indústria de Máquinas Ltda” in São Paulo

Klöckner-Werke AG (KW) in Duisburg, Germany, initially acquires 51% of H&K. The stake is increased to 100% in subsequent years.

1982
Merger of Seitz Werke GmbH in Bad Kreuznach, Noll Maschinenfabrik GmbH in Minden and Enzinger Union Werke AG in Mannheim into Seitz Enzinger Noll Maschinenbau AG (SEN) with headquarters in Bad Kreuznach.

1982
Klöckner-Werke takes a 24% stake in SEN and increases this stake to more than 90% by 1988/89.

Acquisition of the GEA Till company in Kriftel, Germany

Acquisition of Kisters Maschinenbau GmbH in Kleve, Germany, a subsidiary of Klöckner-Werke

Acquisition of KHS Metec GmbH in Niederzissen, Germany

2006
KHS acquires 70 % of a Chinese company, GLM2 in Shantou, whose core competencies are in filling technology for the beer industry. The joint venture operates under the name KHS China GLM2 Co. Ltd.

Salzgitter AG acquires a majority stake in Klöckner-Werke

2008
Klöckner-Werke AG acquires the group of companies SIG Corpoplast, SIG Plasmax, both in Hamburg, Germany, SIG Asbofill in Neuss, Germany, and SIG Moldtec in Essen, Germany.
