1972
IPS founded in January, the partners are: Carl Edelmann GmbH, Gerhard Schubert and Leo Hayes.

1978
Due to the increasing number of employees, IPS moves into the Jagstbrueckenhochhaus in Crailsheim.

1984
First participation at the Interpack Exhibition in Duesseldorf. Paul Utz and Leo Hayes take over the management.

1986
The growing commercial success leads to the move into their first owned office building.

1992
IPS becomes a 100% subsidiary company of the Gerhard Schubert GmbH in Crailsheim.

1999
Gerald Schubert is appointed Managing Director with Paul Utz deputising.

2005
Paul Utz retires from IPS. Peter Gabriel is appointed Managing Director and deputizes for Gerald Schubert. Olaf Horrenberger is promoted to management.

2009
For the first time an annual turnover in excess of 50 million Euros is achieved.

2010
In the first quarter 2010, Gerald Schubert relinquishes his position as Managing Director in order to be able to concentrate on his activities as Area Sales Manager fo the Schubert Group. Olaf Horrenberger becomes Managing Director.

2011
IPS extends its product portfolio by now having the capability to offer a range of

2014
Schubert-Pharma is established as a new IPS Business Unit. IPS takes over pharmaceutical sales and implementation activities as well as providing services for all Pharma Systems of Gerhard Schubert GmbH.

2016
IPS is to operate under the name of Schubert Packaging Systems GmbH as from 1 January 2016.
